The best player in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to transfer part of his fortune to Portugal, by transferring his main company from Luxembourg, with a capital of more than 16 million euros (R$ 111 million, at current prices) to the country that he was born.
According to Portuguese newspapers, the transfer took place in June of last year and has only been confirmed now. The company CRS Holding, in addition to changing its tax office, starting to pay taxes in Portugal, also changed its name: now it is called CR7 Lifestyle Unipessoal.
The newspapers had access to the minutes at the Commercial Registry Office, upon the creation of CR7 Lifestyle Unipessoal, where it is stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is the only partner. "It was decided to transfer the statutory headquarters, the effective management headquarters and the central administration of the company nº 92, Rua de Bonnevoi, Luxembourg, to Av. Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco, Torre II, 8th floor, room 10, Lisbon council , Portugal", says the document.
With this transfer, the player now has six active companies in Portugal. Joining this are Mussara – Management of Spaces and Events; the Category Challenge; the Sixty-Five Lot; CR7 SA and Ponta de Lança – Sociedade Imobiliária.
It is worth remembering that Cristiano Ronaldo became the first footballer whose fortune exceeded 1 billion dollars and the first to join the multimillionaires club, which included two other sports legends: golfer Tiger Woods and boxer Floyd Mayweather.
In 2020, CR7 was fourth on Forbes' Top 100 Celebrities list, with €92.5 million. Only Kylie Jenner, with €520 million, Kanye West, with €150 million, and Roger Federer, with €93.7 million, are ahead of Juventus and the Portuguese team. The top 5 closes with rival Leo Messi, 91.6 million.
